Do you feel stuck without a coffee maker? Not really. In this article, we will introduce 3 simple ways to make coffee without a coffee maker.
Turkish pot (Cezve/Ibrik) method
Tools: small copper/brass pot (with long handle), very finely ground coffee powder
Steps:
1. Add cold water to the pot and add coffee powder according to the proportion (usually 1 cup of water with 1-2 teaspoons of coffee powder) without stirring.
2. Heat on low heat until the surface foams, remove the heat before boiling, and repeat 1-2 times.
3. Let it sit for 30 seconds to let the powder settle, slowly pour it into the cup, and discard the residue at the bottom.
Features: thick and strong, retains coffee oil, traditional Middle Eastern method.

Cowboy Coffee
Tools: pot heated by direct fire (such as camping pot), coarsely ground coffee
Steps:
1. Add coffee powder directly to the water (ratio about 1:15), boil and remove from the heat.
2. Sprinkle a small amount of cold water to help precipitation, and let it stand for 3-5 minutes.
3. Pour carefully when drinking, or use a spoon to gently press the surface powder layer to assist in filtering.
Features: Rough and simple, commonly used in the North American pioneering period, with a slight granular feel.

Filter cloth drip filter (similar to flannel)
Tools: cotton filter bag, bracket (or manual suspension), medium-coarse ground coffee
Steps:
1. Rinse the filter cloth with hot water to remove the taste, and put in the ground coffee powder.
2. Pour 90°C hot water in batches, first simmer for 30 seconds, and then slowly pour water in the center until completed.
3. The filter cloth needs to be washed and boiled after use to avoid odor.
Features: The taste is clean and soft, and the traditional Japanese "ネルドリップ" evolved from this
Of course, you can also brew filter cloth coffee directly with a filter bag. The coffee filter bag is a combination of hand-brewed coffee and French press. No matter where you are, you can enjoy the freshest coffee anytime, anywhere. All you need is a brewed coffee bag with ground coffee.
